Taira Lanagan Bermudez, MS, BCBA is a Regional Clinic Director and the Director of Feeding Services at FirstSteps. Ms. Bermudez received her Master of Science Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from California State University, Los Angeles and has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with developmental disabilities for more than 15 years.

Ms. Bermudez is devoted to treatment evaluation, research, and the dissemination of behavior analysis, particularly behavioral feeding strategies and Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT). She regularly presents at autism and ABA conferences and is an author of a book devoted to feeding interventions, as well as several scientific papers and book chapters.

Ms. Bermudez loves spending time with her family and proudly asserts her household title of “Jigsaw Puzzle-Queen.”
